Erin O’Mera brings a wealth of experience to SRC as Director of Business Development. She has over 17 years experience in the industry, in areas including product development, clinical research, and preclinical safety. Her thorough knowledge of clinical compliance, as well as GCP, CFR, ICH, HIPPA, NIH, HHS and GCP guidelines makes her a valued addition to the SRC team, and helps her to quickly define and address client needs.
As previous President and founder of Applied Market Advantage, Inc., a CRO specializing in skin product testing, biomedical devices, and qualitative market research, Ms. O’Mera brings a wide knowledge of the industry and client needs. Her experience includes tackling the many challenges of start-ups, including establishment of SOP’s, ISO systems, data management systems, and quality assurance systems. As a consultant, her clients have included several Fortune 100 companies in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products, and contract research industries.
Ms. O’Mera received her B.S. in Chemistry from the College of Mount St. Joseph and her M.S in Pharmaceutical Science, with emphasis in Cosmetic Science, from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Ms. O’Mera has also been an Adjunct Professor at Cincinnati State, the Christ Hospital School of Nursing, and Thomas More College.
Dr. Desai holds a BS in pharmacy (Birla Institute), a MS in Pharmaceutics (Gujarat University), and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (University of South Carolina). He is an active member in 8 professional organizations, and a scientific reviewer for 7 peer-reviewed journals in the medical and pharmaceutical sciences. He is the past chair of the Drug Metabolism Focus Group of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Dr. Desai has mentored more than 25 MS/Ph.D. students and received several awards for teaching and research excellence.
